About Us

Why we started?

The essence of clothing is to create memories, and with memories, create unique little stories.

And like that, it all started with a love for children and clothing. From this world of fashion where everyone is swinging back and forth towards trends, we forget the power of clothing. It influences not just how an outsider perceives us but how we perceive ourselves. And for a growing child, it is part of their development and identity, both physically and mentally.

Being a fashion designer in the streets of Paris, I was exposed to the exploiting behaviours of brands for short term business, where they compromise quality for quantity and cost reduction. This posed not only risks for labourers working under extremely poor working conditions, but the consumer as well, who wears these low quality products just for the sake of fashion. This made me question not just the ethical part of it but the health related risks posed by such corporate level behaviour.

Surrounded by medical professionals, I have seen many issues that children face and from rigorous research I realised “Prevention is the best cure”. Every decision we make matters to our children’s future.

My goal is to help every parent understand how their actions have a huge impact on their child. And this is where I chose to start.

Inspiration

The whole future of art is to be found in the streets of South of France, and Believe you me, it is true.

Walking past small French houses, every passing one with bright earthy tones, covered in climbing plants and the graceful touch of age, some with beautiful gardens nurturing tomatoes and many magnificent flowers, were parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and neighbours happily picnicking with their children. Nothing mattered to them, they were living the moment. 

Living four years of my young adulthood in Paris, this came to me as a shock. I thought Parisiens and Paris were the essence of life and it came as a revelation to me when I visited the south of France, how life can be so calm and beautiful. 

It was all about nature and seizing the day. 

The rush of the world did not matter.
